The Attitude of Gratitude
As we approach this season of Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my profound gratitude to each of you. Your dedication and willingness to engage with our Moneymaking Strategy Series have been a source of great inspiration to me and our entire team.
In the spirit of gratitude, I encourage all of us to practice the law of reciprocity. Let's make a conscious effort to thank someone every day, perhaps every hour, for their contributions, no matter how small. This simple act can have a profound impact on both the giver and the receiver.
In business, this principle is equally powerful. Imagine the impact if each team member makes a daily call to thank a customer, or send a handwritten note. We've even incorporated unique gestures like $2 bill Thanksgiving cards in our agency, encouraging recipients to pass on the kindness. The stories of help and hope that have emerged from these acts are truly heartwarming.
I urge you not to limit this practice to the Thanksgiving season. Make gratitude a part of your daily routine. Whether it's through email sign-offs, text messages, or direct conversations, let those around you know they are appreciated.
To take this a step further, I challenge you, as I have challenged myself, to embark on a 365-day journey of gratitude. Last year, I made a conscious decision to acknowledge something I was grateful for every day, sharing it on a dedicated Facebook page. The positive impact it had on my life and others was remarkable.
Let's start this Thanksgiving, or even right now, and commit to a year of gratitude. I am confident that it will enhance our lives, our relationships, and our peace of mind.
